Editor,  After searching the web and talking and writing to as many candidates for sheriff that I can, I have come to the conclusion that none of these men are “well qualified” for the office of sheriff of Liberty County except insofar as having registered to run by the filing deadline.
None of the men have shown any type of education that would make a person well-qualified. I realize that one of these men will eventually be elected, but as to who is the better “qualified,” I cannot say just based on the information provided by each of the candidates.
