Officer credits clean-up helpers

On April 28, about 75 people assisted the City of Hinesville with our project for the Great American Clean-up.
These people formed teams and each team cleaned up one mile of Highway 84 from city limits to city limits and a portion of the Peacock Canal.
A heartfelt “thanks” goes out to the Georgia Power Co., Youth Challenge, the YMCA, Neighborhood Watch associations, the city of Hinesville’s Citizens Police Academy alumni and present class, Butch Hemingway of the Vietnam Veterans Association, the Kiwanis and Rotary clubs and the Bradwell Institute track team.

Michael Trombley
Crime Prevention Officer
