Thanks so very much for the great article you published on Sunday, Jan. 14 concerning the frocking of our son-in-law, Al Aycock (General has ties to Liberty, Jan. 14 Coastal Courier). We are very pleased with the story and the picture.
There is one bit of information that needs to be corrected and this is very important to us. NOT ANY of the monies raised during the entire six years of the Yellow Bluff July Fest was ever used for anyone’s personal medical expense.
The July Fest was a Cystic Fibrosis fundraiser and ALL (over $200,000) monies after expenses were sent to the Georgia Chapter to be used by the CF Foundation for research.
Again let us thank you for the wonderful coverage of the Yellow Bluff July Fest in those past years as well as the current article and picture this past Sunday.
