Questions still need to be answered

Editor, I am not a lawyer nor do I pretend to be an expert regarding legal matters. However, as a semi-informed individual, questions beg to be answered regarding the recent grand jury findings and their presentments especially the strongly worded voice given to the hospital authority and the reinstatement of Dr. Glenn Carter’s privileges.
And the questions are: What is the district attorney’s stance on the matter? The grand jury deemed this issue worthy of being looked at further and forcefully asked for resolution.
What are we as citizens and patients of Dr. Carter supposed to now do? We have worked within the system through every available avenue: The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Organizations, The State Composite Board of Medical Examiners, The Georgia Hospital Association and of course, the Liberty County Board of Commissioners and letters to the editor from various people including myself.
The issue cannot continue to fester. The public demands, as per the grand jury, that the district attorney’s office look into this logjam and gives specifics regarding a solution. When is this going to take place?
