Dear Editor, In a word, the mayor and city council pay raises are outrageous.   
Our taxes are up, most of us lucky enough to get a pay check have not seen even a token pay raise in several years, and they increase their pay like that. This is a perfect example of being politically incorrect.
I recommend that situation be quickly revisited. If it really needs to be done, I think is should be incremental increases over several years starting when the economy regains solid footing.
