Thanks for making play successful

Editor, Thanks to the greater Liberty County community for your recent support of the play “Mama, It’s Your Time.”
Big Mama’s House, a trip down memory lane for several mothers, served as the opening act. It was a real hit with the audience. It starred Bradwell students Sideeq Heard, Aaron Nealey, Aaliyah Thomas and Brianca King. Soul stirring praise dance routines were performed by the St. Luke Baptist Church Praise Dancers. They received applause throughout their performance and a standing ovation at the end.
The original stage play, “Mama, It’s Your Time,” also starred Charlotte Lovette Norman, Shade Ashleigh Williams, Hillary Scales, CeCe Milledge and Damian Wright. Both showings averaged 170 enthusiastic mothers, family members and friends of the arts. The reviews thus far have been nothing but excellent.
Kudos to the cast for a job well done. None of this could have been possible without the sponsorship support of Jones, Osteen and Jones, Liberty Regional Medical Center, A. Washington and Co., Comprehensive OBGYN, Strategic Business Solutions, Simmons Family Dentistry, the Coastal Courier, The Heritage Bank and Phillips Pediatrics. A special thanks to Pastor A.D. Shaw, the Full Gospel Praise Team, J.R. Cochran and the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church Family for the best in Southern and Christian hospitality.
Carolyn Simmons and her team created a wonderful Mother’s Day decorum.  In and Out of Focus, the designated videographer, did a video tribute to mothers that was excellent! The support staff of Andrew Williams, DeLisa Espada, Larry and Brenda Baker and the Brentwood Media Group ensured the structure was in place for a successful production.
Please save the dates of Aug. 13-15 for the presentation of “Mama, Turn the Radio On III.” This final episode of our first hit production is entitled “It Is What It Is.” The character Leo’s attempt to save a young man from the “system” is met with resistance. Much to his regret, after extenuating effort, he reluctantly comes to the conclusion that change cannot be forced. It is received by choice. Therefore, “It Is What It Is.”
Thanks again for the support of this and future productions. By the way, DVDs of all the plays are available at TOP Christian Book Store on Main Street. See you in Hollywood!
