Editor, I have some news I want to share with people of this community.
It was necessary for me to carry my wife to the emergency room on Dec. 7. I chose Wayne Memorial Hospital because Jesup is much closer than Savannah.
The good news is she could not have been treated any nicer by emergency room and other personnel.
She is to be released Dec. 12 with much, much better results than what her stay has been in the past at Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville.
I talked with other people at the hospital from this area who are well-pleased with services at Wayne Memorial and the reason we are there is the Liberty County Hospital Authority won't allow our doctor to practice at their hospital.
I had surgery at Jesup’s old hospital sometime back and was treated equally as well.
If you ask why I don't support Liberty Regional, I do by helping them pay their bills with my tax dollars.
