Tee Time; Golfing for Girls is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at Cherokee Rose Country Club in Hinesville.
Hole sponsorships are $100 or more and includes advertising on the course. Registration for golfers costs $50 per person or $200 for a four-person team.
The event will support the Grow a Girl Network’s building fund for a new location in Parkway Plaza at 445 EG Miles Pky., Ste. 203 Hinesville.

BB tourney

The Kings of the South basketball tournament and health and wellness fair will be at 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at the Shuman Recreation Center in Hinesville. Registration is open until Oct. 2 and the fees are $50 for the 3-on-3 class and $100 for the 5-on-5 class. There will be three youth and three adult divisions. The tournament is open to women. After 3 p.m. Monday-Thursday (excluding holidays): 18 holes with a cart is $19. Nine holes with a cart is $15.
