Lady Tigers take first two games
The Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers began their softball season, winning their first two games at the Swamp Tournament at Waycross’ Trembling Earth Complex.
The girls beat Pierce County 4-3 in game one and defeated Brooks County 8-5 in game two. Coach Sharyl Eastlake said Karson Rogers did a fantastic job on the mound. The girls played again Saturday morning, but lost to Brunswick 6-7. Candace Blair hit a home run against the Pirates.
Monday Night Mixed Bowling League
The Monday Night Mixed Bowling League will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13. Members will bowl after the meeting.

Saturday Morning Youth Bowling League
The Fort Stewart Youth Bowling League will register bowlers, ages 3-18, from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Sept. 11, at Marne Lanes on Fort Stewart.
