Sports physicals set
Appointments for health screenings and sports physicals for military families are available. Appointments are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays in July at the Winn Army Community Hospital Pediatric Clinic, Thursdays at the Tuttle Army Health Clinic and Aug. 11 at the Richmond Hill Medical Home.  
All appointments must be made through the Fort Stewart MEDDAC call center at 435-6633. There will be a TRICARE representative at the Richmond Hill site for patients not enrolled at the clinic.

Awards ceremony set
Scott’s All-Stars will be hosting their third annual awards ceremony from 6-8 p.m. Aug. 3 at Club Stewart. Laney High School basketball coach Kerwin “Buck” Harris will be the keynote speaker for the event.
Tickets are $10, semi-formal attire recommended. For more information, call 655-4371.

LCHS softball planned
The Liberty County High School Lady Panther softball team will start conditioning at 8 a.m. July 25 through Aug. 1 at the Lady Panthers’ softball field. Tryouts will be held at 6 p.m. Aug. 1. Participants must have current sports physical on file at the school.

Jiu-Jitsu open
Jiu-Jitsu training is open for ages 8 and older. Classes will be scheduled by appointment only. For more information, call Wolfpack Jiu-Jitsu at 368-2323.

BI softball heating up
Bradwell Institute will have summer softball conditioning from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lady Tiger’s softball field. Girls entering grades 8-12 are welcome to attend.
Participants must have a current sports physical to attend. Bring tennis shoes and a water bottle.
Softball tryouts will take place Aug. 1.
