Bradwell softball tryouts July 30

The Bradwell Institute softball team will have tryouts at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 30, at Lady Tigers Field.

Brazilian jiu jitsu camp

The YMCA is offering a Brazilian jiu jitsu camp from July 18-22 for ages 8-16. Ages 8-12 will be from noon-1 p.m. and ages 13-16 will be from 1:15-2:15 p.m. For more information, call 368-9622.

LCRD cheer camp in July

The Liberty County Recreation Department will conduct a cheer camp from 5:30-8 p.m. through July 14 at Stafford Pavilion. The camp is open to children ages 7 and older, and the cost is $30 per camper. Registration is from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. weekdays at the LCRD office. For more information, call 876-5359.
