YMCA sports open
Registration for the YMCA flag football and soccer programs is open to ages 3 and up. For more information call 368-9622.

Sports physicals set
Appointments for health screenings and sports physicals for military families are available. Appointments are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays in July at the Winn Army Community Hospital Pediatric Clinic, Thursdays at the Tuttle Army Health Clinic and Aug. 11 at the Richmond Hill Medical Home.
  All appointments must be made through the Fort Stewart MEDDAC call center at 435-6633. There will be a TRICARE representative at the Richmond Hill site for patients not enrolled at the clinic.

5K fundraiser planned
The first Squash for Josh 5K and 1-mile run will be held Sept. 22 in J.F. Gregory Park in Richmond Hill.  The race is in memory of Joshua Moore, who was fatally shot March 9, 2011, during an altercation in Midway. The 5K will start at 9 a.m. and the 1-mile run will start at 9:15 a.m. Racers can register online at for $15 per person before Sept. 18. Race-day registrations are cash only and cost $20 per person. Learn Jiu-Jitsu
Wolf Pack Jiu Jitsu training is open for ages 8 and older. Classes for ages 8-12 are 5:30-6:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays; ages 13 and older are from 6:30-7:30 p.m. For more information, call Wolf Pack Jiu Jitsu at 368-1123.
