AUSA golf scramble

The Association of the United States Army is hosting its third annual Golf Scramble starting at 9:30 a.m. June 17 at Taylor’s Creek Golf Course. The event is a four-person scramble and limited to the first 25 to register. Cost per team is $160, hole sponsorships are available for $100 and tee box sponsorships are $50. Hinesville Soccer tryouts on tap

Hinesville Soccer will host tryouts for the 14U and 16U Athena teams from 10 a.m.-noon June 11 at St. James Park. 16U and 17U Classic boys’ tryouts will be from 10 a.m.-noon June 11 at St. James Park. For more information, call coach Tom Sukaratana at 977-4642.

Tiger Tee-Off next Saturday

The annual Tiger Tee-Off Golf Tournament, sponsored by the Harvey Overton Bradwell Boosters Club, is at 1:30 p.m. June 11 at the Cherokee Rose Country Club in Hinesville. The fee is $50 per person and $200 per team in a four-person scramble format. Prizes will be awarded for first-, second- and third-place teams.
