Martial arts, hoops at the YMCA

Beginning Nov. 1, the YMCA will offer a mixed martial arts class on Tuesdays and Thursdays for adults and children 5 and older. Registration for youth basketball (ages 3-16) begins Oct. 15. For more information, call 368-9622.

Free camp at St. James

The St. James Sports Center will conduct a free “We got Camp” basketball camp Nov. 5 for boys and girls ages 14 and younger in fifth through eighth grades. Registration is from 9-9:45 a.m. There will be a lunch break from noon-1 p.m., and campers can buy lunch at St. James or leave the facility. Fundamental basketball
