Tiger Tee Off
Bradwell Institute’s annual Tiger Tee Off is at 1 p.m. April 14 at Cherokee Rose Country Club.
Sponsored by the Harvey Overton Bradwell Boosters, the format is a four-person scramble.
The cost is $50 per person or $200 per team with proceeds going to help fund all non-revenue sports at Bradwell Institute.
Prizes include $300 for first place, $200 for second place and $100 for third place.
The golfer who gets closest to the pin on hole No. 13 will win an automobile donated by Hinesville Ford.

Officials needed
The Liberty County Recreation Department is accepting applications for officials and scorekeepers for T-ball, softball and baseball programs.
All programs start in April and continue into June.
Applications may be obtained at the LCRD Office, located on Highway 84 beside the National Guard Armory. Call 876-5359 for additional information.
Hurricanes
Hinesville’s semi-pro football team, the Hurricanes, practice Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. For more information, call James Sharp at 269-0830 or Michael “Ice” Jones at 977-4375.
LCRD sports
The Liberty County Recreation Department is now accepting registration for youth baseball, softball and T-ball programs. The deadline for registration is Friday. These programs are for boys and girls, ages 4 and up. Participants must attain the age of 4 prior to May 1, 2007.
Leagues and teams will be formed in Midway, Riceboro, Walthourville and Gum Branch if there are a sufficient number of participants.
Volunteer coaches are needed for all teams. Training will be provided. Register on-line at www.lcrd.net, or at the LCRD Office on Highway 84, Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Cost is $18 per child.

The Liberty County Recreation Department will accept team entries for 2007 adult softball programs in March.
Divisions for both men’s and women’s teams are open, church, co-ed (church and open), industrial and 40-and-over. For more information, call the LCRD office at 876-5359.
Kidsfest
Kidsfest and Tiger 5-K run will be 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. Saturday at Bradwell Park. There will be festival booths with food, fun and games, a 5-K road race and one mile fun run/walk, three on three basketball competition, step show, kids safety, DNA lifekits and more.
Bass Club
The Liberty County Bass Club meets monthly and takes periodic trips. You do not have to have a boat to join. The club is a member of the Georgia Bass Federation and FLW.
