The men and lady Tigers will face their first regional opponent as they travel to Groves tonight and tip-off against the Rebels. The men currently stand at 1-1 after a huge victory against Tattnall last week and a loss to Brunswick in overtime Tuesday night. The 65-62 loss to Brunswick showed head coach David Jones an area he feels the team needs to work on.
“We had a good second half against Brunswick but we need to work on our rebounds or we are in trouble,” he said.
The Lady Tigers are 2-2 with victories against Tattnall and Brunswick as they prep for the Lady Rebels.
Tigers at Groves, tonight, ladies at 6:30 p.m., men at 8 p.m.
Tigers vs. Wayne County Saturday night, ladies at 5 p.m. men to follow
