Kentucky looking for payback against Bulldogs

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky coach John Calipari brought in a very special visitor to help toughen up the 14th-ranked Wildcats.

Former NBA coach Larry Brown, a longtime friend of Calipari's, attended several practices this week offering insight as Kentucky (15-4, 3-2 Southeastern Conference) prepares for a rematch with Georgia (14-5, 3-3). The Bulldogs manhandled the Wildcats in a 77-70 loss three weeks ago.

Kentucky center Josh Harrellson said Brown told the Wildcats to be aggressive and not back down when challenged. The Bulldogs controlled play at both ends of the floor in the victory, led by 25 points from Trey Thompkins.

Kentucky has won 28 straight at Rupp Arena, the second-longest active home winning streak in the country.
