MANCHESTER, England (AP) — The WNBA's Atlanta Dream will face the British women's national basketball team in the American league's first move into the European market.

The game is scheduled for May 29 at the MEN Arena in northern England.

On Sunday, Britain's men's and women's teams were granted automatic spots in the 2012 London Olympics.

Britain guard Jo Leedham says "it will be a huge test for our team, but will help in our preparations and will be an exciting moment for GB and for the WNBA alike."

Besides the WNBA game, an NBA team will play at the same venue in 2013. And the U.S. men's and women's national teams will play in Global Community Cup games in July 2012, days before the opening ceremony of the London Games.
