Inailau Emelia Lopez-Medina was born at 1:11 p.m. July 1 to Diana A. Lopez-Medina of Tacoma, Washington, and Jorge A. Lopez-Medina of Guadalajara, Mexico.

Born at Liberty Regional Medical Center, baby Inailau weighed 8 pounds and measured 20 inches.

The baby’s maternal grandparents are Taei and Uati Savea of Upolu, Samoa. The baby’s paternal grandparents are Benigno and Gloria Nunez of Los Angeles.

The baby also is welcomed by sisters Akenese and Elisia.
