Rochelle Destiny Dixon was born at 8:10 a.m. Aug. 25 to Candi Varnedoe of Midway and Ronnie Dixon of Midway.

Born at Liberty Regional Medical Center, baby Rochelle weighed 6.5 pounds.

The baby’s maternal grandmother is Catherine Vardenoe of Midway.

The baby also is welcomed by brothers Stefon and Omar.
