Richard Combs of Peachtree City and Becky Graham McAuley of Cumming, both formerly of Hinesville, announce the engagement of their daughter Caroline Ruth Combs to Matthew Richard Hoffman, son of Brian and Linda Hoffman of Sandy Springs.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jim Combs of Dublin and Ruth Combs of Huntsville, Ala., both formerly of Hinesville, and Frank and Carolyn Graham of Hinesville.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Tim and Jean Hoffman of Michigan, both formerly of Hinesville, and Howard and Jesse TenEyck of New Jersey, both formerly of Hinesville.
Caroline Combs is a 2003 graduate of McIntosh High School in Peachtree City. She graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2007. She currently is employed as a project manager.
Matthew Hoffman is a 2003 graduate of McIntosh High School. He will graduate from DeVry University in Atlanta in 2013. He currently is employed as a physical therapy technician.
A wedding is planned for 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at Chota Falls in Georgia.
Family friend Judge Paul Rose of Hinesville will officiate.
