Janice Marie Gordon of Savannah and Walter Stephen Moore of Walthourville have announced their engagement.
Born in Sunflower, Mississippi and raised in Muskegon, Michigan, Janice is a graduate of Muskegon Senior High School, Muskegon Community College and Everest University. She is taking graduate courses at Northcentral University and is employed by the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System.
Walter is a graduate of Bradwell Institute and Savannah State University, where he is employed.
Parents of the bride-elect are Minister and Mrs. Arthur Lee and Annie Gordon of Muskegon. Maternal grandparents are the late Johnnie Sr. and Minnie Collins. Paternal grandparents are the late Eddie B. and Easter Mae Jewel.
Parents of the bridegroom-elect are the late Walter S. and Jean Quarterman Moore. Paternal grandparents are the late John C. and Eunice Badger Quarterman. Maternal grandparents are the late Johnnie Moore and Evelyn Baker Anderson Moore.
The wedding will take place at 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 28 at Calvary Baptist Temple, 4625 Waters Ave. in Savannah. Dinner will be served at
4:30 p.m. at the same location. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
