Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dale Smith of Hinesville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Victoria Brooke, to Wesley Middleton Powell III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Middleton Powell Jr. of Bainbridge.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Bradwell Institute.
She is a 2010 graduate of Georgia Southern University and later earned a master’s in education from Armstrong Atlantic State University. She currently is employed by the Liberty County Board of Education.
Her paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Smith of Hinesville. Her maternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Moody of Allenhurst.
The groom-elect is a 2007 graduate of Bainbridge High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University in 2012. He is employed by Dollar Brothers Inc.
His paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Jerome Dollar of Bainbridge. His maternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Middleton Powell of Bainbridge.
The wedding ceremony has been set for 5:30 p.m. March 1, 2014, at First Presbyterian Church of Hinesville with a reception to follow at Dorchester Shooting Preserve.
