Ellen Valentine Evans and Darren Michael Oberto were united in marriage on Saturday, June 4, 2011, under the oaks at the home of the bride’s parents in Flemington. The Rev. Gregory E. Loskoski, pastor of Flemington Presbyterian Church, officiated at the 7 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Richard D. and Gail Fox Evans of Flemington. She is the granddaughter of the late Mary Stacy Fox of Flemington and the late Theron Glenn Fox Sr. of Calhoun, Ga., and Mildred G. Evans and the late J. Grier Evans of Anderson, S.C..
The groom is the son of Dennis Oberto of Whitmore Lake, Mich., and Linda Oberto of Pinckney, Mich. He is the grandson of the late Gust and Mildred Oberto and the late Raymond and Ila Geisler, all of Dearborn, Mich. 
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her father and mother. The bride’s attendants were her sisters, Mary Morgan Evans of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Shannon Evans White of Crested Butte, Colo. The flower girl was the groom’s niece, Brandy Oberto of Gregory, Mich. The groom’s brother, Keith Oberto of Gregory, was the best man.
A dinner reception followed the ceremony. Ellen and Darren are at home in Chicago, Ill., following their wedding trip to Hawaii.
