Carol Groover Guyett of Gum Branch announces the engagement of her daughter, Lindsey Adlen Guyett, to Graham Christopher Martin of Midway.

Lindsey is also the daughter of the late Dennis Eugene Guyett Sr. Graham is the son of Linda Whitfield Martin of Midway.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor’s of science degree from the University of Georgia in the fields of animal and dairy science. She went on to complete her master’s of agriculture in agricultural education at Oklahoma State University. She currently teaches and coaches at Bradwell Institute.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Nashville Auto-Diesel College. He is employed as a senior firefighter by the city of Hinesville and is a part-time EMT for Liberty Regional Medical Center.

The wedding is planned for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Cooper’s Point River House in Shellman Bluff. The reception will immediately follow.
