William H. Rigdon and Mattie L. Moon Rigdon of Gum Branch will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary May 26, 2011.
Both were born in Metter. The couple wed May 26, 1951. They have five children, 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
William Rigdon spent 20 years in the Army. They have been residents of Gum Branch since 1976.
