Members of the New Sunbury Baptist Association provided lunch for teachers at Smiley Elementary on May 8 in observance of Teacher Appreciation Week.
Hamburgers, baked beans, chips and cookies were served to school employees.
New Sunbury Baptist Association has 21 churches in its association from Long, Liberty and McIntosh counties.
Jim Elliott, head chef, is the director of missions for the association.
"We would like to express thanks to New Sunbury Baptist Association for their generosity and a very special thanks to those who came to show support for the educators at Smiley Elementary," Smiley Principal Sandy Jones said.
