Ludowici High School classes of 1941-1955 had their combined class reunions Sept. 25 in the Ludowici First Baptist Church Social Hall. More than 150 former students and their guests attended the celebration.
Following a social hour, classmates renewed old friendships, reminisced and made new acquaintances.
Class group photos were taken by Tammy Driggers Photography of Glennville. Memorials were conducted for the five classmates who have passed away since the last reunion in September 2009. Spouses and family members lit candles in honor of their deceased loved ones. Afterward, everyone enjoyed a buffet-style dinner catered by Occasions of Midway.
Following dinner and short discussions where a few surprise gifts were given, former students and their guests mingled and strolled down memory lane.
Donald Chapman from the class of 1954 served as master of ceremonies. Staffers from Occasions of Midway and a few class members decorated the social hall.
The next combined reunion will be Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011.
