The Hinesville Rotary Club met March 30 at the Dorchester Civic Center in Midway, formerly the old Dorchester Consolidated School. Dorchester President Barbara Martin, who was introduced by Rotary member Allen Brown, spoke to the club about the history of Dorchester Village and the historic site’s ongoing renovation process. On April 9 at 6 p.m., Dorchester Consolidated School alum and clockmaker George “Buddy” Blake will donate a clock to the building.
