Some of the area’s best musicians will play Nov. 15 to benefit the area’s Toys for Tots and a food pantry in the Midway area.
Tunes for Tots, a family-friendly concert, will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. that Saturday at Dorchester Civic Center. Eighteen bands and artists will be featured, ranging from the full ensemble of Jimmy Wayne and the House Shakers to solo acts including Olin Fraser Jr.
Admission will be a new, unwrapped toy or non-perishable food item. The food will be donated to 747 Hangar. Concessions will be available for purchase or you can bring your own cooler. You can also bring blankets and chairs as it will be outside if the weather permits.
Bands and artists expected include; Kickin’ Up Dust, Wyatt Richie, Jerico River Band, Mike Shaver Band, Dakota Woods, Rufus Clark & the Night Rhythms, Coey Jones Band, Flashback, July, Daffani Leigh, Tommy Davis and the Greenhouse Band, Olin Frasier, 3rd Class Citizens (3CC), Jimmy and Waylon McKinnon, Rodney Riley and the Midway All-stars, Jimmy Wayne and the House Shakers, and Keith Milner and the Purified Band.
