Contestants from Liberty, Tattnall and Long counties recently competed in the 2012 Miss Tri-County Easter Pageant at Long County High School in Ludowici.
The night began with Cambree Armfield taking the baby miss title and also the prettiest dress award; the runner-up to the crown was Raegan Fuller, while Naomi Anderson claimed the prettiest smile award.  In the toddler miss division, Trinity Boutwell won the title and also took home the prettiest smile award, while the runner-up was Choloe Terrell, who also won the prettiest dress award. In the tiny miss competition, Savannah Cox was crowned the queen and also won the prettiest dress award and the most sponsored award. The runner-up was Jacklynn Haferkamp, who also won the prettiest smile award.  In the petite miss division, Samantha Pitts took home the crown, along with the prettiest dress and prettiest smile awards, while Sarah Cowan was the runner-up.
In the pre-teen miss division, Faith Ayala was crowned the queen and also won the prettiest smile award, while Mara Gibson was runner-up and the winner of the prettiest dress award.  In the junior miss division, Karena Espey took home the title and the award for  prettiest smile, while Alexis Durrence was the runner-up and winner of the prettiest dress award.  In the miss division, Courtney Hewitt took home the title, while the runner-up to the crown was Erica Smith. Bobbi Buckingham claimed the prettiest dress award and the prettiest smile award.  Haley Riddle was crowned the queen in the ms. division, and she also took home the prettiest dress award. Robin Glandon claimed the runner-up title and also won the prettiest smile award.
Taking home the overall crowns were Demi Wasden in the birth-6 category, while Bobbi Buckingham won the 7-older category.  The people’s choice award went to Olivia Versele.
Other participants in the pageant included Marcia Gooch, Melissa Gooch, Dixie Bridges, Catherine Sikes, Aniya Williams, Jaden Bridges, Alexandra Haferkamp, Takyla Edwards, Jana Brom, Ali Sikes, Alyssa Butler and Megan Alexander.
All proceeds from the 2012 Miss Tri-County Easter Pageant went to KIDZ-ETC, a nonprofit group that supports local teens in the area with awards and scholarships.
