Coastal Manor Long-Term Care Facility and the Ludowici Prince Hall Masonic Association held their annual Easter-egg hunt April 12.
This year’s event garnered the most children to ever participate. Over 2,100 eggs were hidden.
Chief Long-Term Care Officer Elise Stafford said that the residents look forward to the egg hunt and decorate the eggs for the kids.
There were three age divisions for finding the eggs, with awards given out to children who found prize eggs and the most eggs.
Stafford said that the annual event has grown every year, and that it was only possible with the help of the Masonic Association.
Mason Russell Thompson said that this was the event’s fifth year, and 25 Easter baskets were given to kids. The association also provided hamburgers and hotdogs to everyone.
