When Annabel Beam was five years old, she was diagnosed with two incurable life-threatening digestive disorders pseudo-obstruction motility disorder and antral hypomotility disorder. As a result, she spent much of her life in and out of hospitals.
In 2011, while playing with her older sister, Annabel fell thirty feet, head first, inside a hollowed-out cottonwood tree when the branch she was on suddenly snapped. After about five hours, rescue crews were able to get Annabel out of the tree. Miraculously, she was uninjured.
But, that wasn't the only miracle that took place. Her digestive disorders were completely gone afterward and Annabel visited heaven.
She says that she went to heaven and saw Jesus while she was unconscious inside the tree on which her family has carved a cross.
"I saw heaven and it was really bright and I saw my Mimi who had died a couple years back," Annabel said. "And that's how I knew I was in heaven."
"I believe that I was cured because I asked Jesus if I could stay with him, and he said, 'No, Annabel, I have plans for you on Earth that you cannot fulfill in heaven. Whenever I send you back, there will be nothing wrong with you,'" Annabel said.
Her mother, Christy Beam has penned Annabel's story in a book, "Miracles From Heaven," which is soon to be a movie they announced in an interview.
