Let the commanding spirit guide you

The ability to command spirits is given to the believer by the power of God, exercised only through the Holy Spirit.
Understanding first the entry points how these spirits gain access to you will give you the tools to stop their advances. Access is granted through your thoughts, actions and deeds. Lack, loneliness, pride, ambition, alcohol, drugs, unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, vanity, fear and false doctrine are things that serve as access points.
Once the spirits have access, they will manipulate the word of God in you and have you thinking and believing in a manufactured truth for your life. Understanding the spirits’ intentions is pivotal to eliminating these as access points for the enemy to use them as a source to influence your life.
These spirits come as “familiar” people, doctrine and actions that attempt to strip you of the reign of God in your life, believing in the creature (fleshly desires like money, power, lust) more than the creator.
“Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen” (Romans 1:25).
Their objectives are to influence people and doctrine to spread lies and deceit in order to impede the kingdom of God or God’s reign in your life. This is done through false teachings and beliefs about God, you, His word and the power and authority He gave you to power over these spirits.
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19).
His intentions are to destroy the reign of God in your life.
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).
When we fail to submit to the “reign of God,” we fall for the familiarity of new and returning spirits that come to rob, kill and destroy the power of God in your life. But first and foremost, we must understand the message Jesus taught about this “reign” to destroy the works of the enemy.
“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8).
This “reign” or the “kingdom of God” is what Jesus came preaching and teaching. He stated his purpose when Jesus said in Luke 4:43, “And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.”
Jesus’ purpose for man’s life should not be confused with God’s purpose for Jesus.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
So the message of the kingdom of God is God’s desire for you to have life more abundantly and everlasting life.
“Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32).
Stop the advances of the enemy in your life by seeking God’s kingdom (God’s reign in your life).
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33).
Amen.
