Members of Life United Pentecostal Church in Hinesville are ready for their revival.
The church has been under the leadership of Pastor Tommie Crutchfield (or “Bro. C” as his congregants affectionately refer to him) since March 2003. Crutchfield also serves as Georgia district Sunday school director.
On Easter Sunday morning, Evangelist Tim Greene of Atlanta, who has spoken at Life United several times, will return to the church for the revival.
“What a blessing. Life United Pentecostal Church is in revival and still moving forward. We are a fast-growing church with a tremendous burden to save souls,” Crutchfield said.
“We are blessed to have talented people in various fields in forming an awesome team. We have a team of saints who welcome the many challenges that come with the responsibilities in serving this great community.”
Greene will speak at the 11 a.m. Easter morning worship service and will conduct a two-day revival at 7 p.m. nightly Tuesday-Wednesday, April 26-27.
Greene, who said he strives to spread a message of hope and encouragement, also conducted revival at the church in August 2010.
He is an ordained minister of the United Pentecostal Church and has been a full-time evangelist since 1998.
Before that, Greene served as a youth pastor, Sunday school teacher, Bible study teacher, pastor’s assistant, prison minister, homeless minister and drama director.
As an evangelist, Greene is involved in many different areas of ministry, including holy ghost and healing crusades, revival services for local communities, Bible studies, altar workers seminars, youth rallies, singles rallies and men’s conferences.
During his revivals and crusades, Greene said he has seen countless miracles.
Many people have been healed, he said, including people who suffered from hearing loss, crippled limbs, arthritis, diabetes, tumors, blindness and many other ailments.
In his evangelistic ministry, Greene has traveled across the United States, Canada, the Philippines, British Columbia, Alberta and South Africa.
Crutchfield and the members of Life United Pentecostal Church invite the public to join them for the revival.
