Trust God when He says yes

In this life, there are various struggles we deal with on a daily basis. Some of us are constantly turned away, rejected and talked about.
We hear the word “no” more than we would like. No, you didn’t get the job. No, there aren’t any rooms available. No, we can’t help you.
But while we are bombarded with negative replies, situations and attitudes, understand that we serve a God who can speak a “yes” to your situation and turn your world upside down.
In September 1988, the first a cappella song to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart was released. The title of that song was, “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.”
The Bible says in Philippians 4:6, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.”
We forget that prayer is a two-way communication between us and God. Our slight whispers become powerful sounds in the ear of our Creator.
The idea of not worrying isn’t so farfetched when you begin to understand that faith is the substance of things we hope for. Therefore, we replace our worries with our faith. We can talk to God about everything that is on our heart and when you pray, He will answer.
John 5:16 tells us; “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.”
When God says, “Yes, it’s going to be all right,” you can stand on His word. No one can hinder what God is getting ready to do in your life. When we receive a “yes” from God, we have the green light to go ahead.
Sometimes the road isn’t clear. We can’t see what God is getting ready to do, but our faith becomes the tangible element that allows us to stand on His word and receive His promises. “Yes” goes far beyond your social standing, your family history and even beyond your bank account.
My dear mother loves to quote, “If He leads you to it, He’ll bring you through it.” In other words, God will give you everything you need to make His “yes” accomplish the impossible.
