A fashion show here on Saturday, April 21, is designed to fulfill a dream that a local teenager had for herself, but who didn't get the chance.

The T.R.Y. Faith, Hope, & Love — Fashion Show is in memory of Tiffany R. York, who was shot to death on Dec. 6.

"I am doing the fashion show in honor of my sister," Morgan York said. "Tiffany wanted to go to college, but now that is not in the picture."

Proceeds from the show, which will be from 5-6:30 p.m. will help set up a scholarship fund. The show will be in the Liberty County High School cafeteria.

"By doing this fashion show we'll be able to help a student or students go to college," Morgan York said.

All money raised will go into the scholarship fund. Scholarships will be available to any senior graduating from high school in Liberty County.

Clothes will be provided by Hope's, a boutique with stores on St. Simons Island and in Jesup. Hair and makeup will be done by Lè Jolie in Hinesville.

Morgan York said there will be 13 models, most from Liberty County. There will be also be a silent auction and T-shirts will be for sale.

Tickets are $10 before the show and $15 at the door. Order tickets by email at morgan_ryan06@yahoo.com

"I know Tiffany would love this, she was the type of person to help anyone out," Morgan York said of her 17-year-old sister.
