Ethical wills were the subject discussed in a seminar by Vicki Ford Manibusan, a certified financial planner with Capstone Financial Partners of Savannah, for the Goldenheirs’ February meeting.
She explained that unlike traditional wills that transfer your worldly possessions, an ethical will bequeath your values, ideas and personal reflections to family members and other loved ones.
Manibusan is a former Hinesville resident, daughter of Frances Fordham, and now lives in Savannah.
Goldenheirs is a group for seniors that meets the first Tuesday of each month at the Hinesville First Baptist Church for a covered-dish lunch at noon and a program. The next meeting, Tuesday, will feature representatives from the Georgia Baptist Children’s Home at Baxley to update club members on life at the home. All seniors are invited.
