Fran McCarey, outreach coordinator for St. Joseph Healthcare Movement Disorder Program, spoke to the Goldenheirs club at its August meeting.
She discussed Parkinson’s and other movement disorders and presented a PowerPoint about her work.
Goldenheirs is a senior group that meets the second Tuesday of each month in the Fellowship Hall at First Baptist in Hinesville.
The next meeting is at noon Sept. 6 and will include a covered-dish lunch. A representative from the Emergency Management Agency will be the guest speaker.
President George Laseter invited all members and senior citizens to attend the meeting.
