Dr. Mark Manocha of the Georgia Eye Institute held a ribbon cutting, grand opening and open house Sept. 24 in conjunction with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce at 741 Weeping Willow Drive in Hinesville.
Manocha welcomed staff, chamber staff and board members and members of the community to the event.
“I’m honored to be a part of the Hinesville community. My favorite part of the week is coming to Liberty County,” Manocha said. “I’m humbled to have such a great staff. We are here to provide the best eye care in southeast Georgia for the indefinite future.”
The Georgia Eye Institute provides services such as eye exams, dispensing and fitting of eyeglasses, treatments for glaucoma, cataracts and other eye diseases as well as Lasik surgeries. The office is open Monday through Friday for appointments. Surgeries take place at Liberty Regional Medical Center.
The Hinesville office is the largest of its 10 locations in Georgia. The office has a photography room that allows doctors and patients to see a 3D image of the eye. Dr. David Kim and Dr. Robin Ray have their practices at the Hinesville office, and Manocha takes appointments there on Tuesdays and schedules surgeries on Fridays.
Chamber Membership Director Brandy Simon welcomed Manocha and the Georgia Eye Institute as chamber members.
