The Bone & Joint Institute of South Georgia announced their Jesup and Waycross offices are now open Saturdays between 8 and 11am.
“We’re excited to provide all of the communities we serve with the option of Saturday appointments. It’s not always convenient to go get an MRI or have any kind of doctor’s appointment during the week and, of course, with Friday night football games, there’s often a need for student athletes to be seen quickly without having to go to the ER,” said Dr. J. Lex Kenerly, orthopedic surgeon.
Kenerly, a Jesup native, specializes in sports medicine and total joint replacement of the hip, knee and shoulder. He is graduate of Wayne County High School, the University of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine.
In summer 2010, Kenerly opened the 15,000-square-foot Bone and Joint Institute of South a Georgia at 110 Professional Court in Jesup.
