Members of Liberty County High School’s Family, Career and Community Leaders of America recently had their second annual Pink Panther Day for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

FCCLA members sold 164 breast cancer awareness shirts to students, faculty and staff throughout October.

Each person who bought a shirt also had his or her name written on a pink ribbon. The ribbons hung in the commons area on a large pink ribbon.

On Oct. 30, the advocates wore the shirts, which were adorned with the breast cancer awareness ribbon and “pink power.”

The club donated $700 in proceeds to the Suzie Q’s of Hinesville, a breast cancer awareness and support group.
