Senator to tour clinic

U.S Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.) will be at the Diversity Health Center in Ludowici on Thursday, March 27, between 2:30 and 3:15 p.m. to tour the new, federally-qualified center, greet constituents and exchange information on issues pertinent to Long County.
Isakson was elected to the Senate in 2004 after serving three terms in the U.S. House. Before that, he spent 17 years in the Georgia Legislature and three years as chairman of the Georgia Board of Education. Isakson serves on six Senate committees that have jurisdiction over education, healthcare, transportation, environment, ports, foreign policy, veterans' affairs, jobs and small businesses.
