MACON - The Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Practical Nurses suspended the licenses of two area nurses during a bi-monthly meeting here earlier this month.
The board suspended the licenses Jamie E. Moody, Ludowici and Lee J. Tolbert of Hinesville of because the licensees alleged defaulted on student loans:
The Board voted to ratify 152 licenses by endorsement, 43 licenses by re-instatement, and 189 licenses by examination.
The board also elected 2008 officers; Jane Harte of Savannah as President and Barbara Mitchell of Buena Vista as vice president. Mary Lynn Owensby of Madison was elected cognizant member.
The next meeting is scheduled for March 5 and 6, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
