West Rehab owner and administrator Brian West is selling blue hanging door ribbons to raise funds and spread awareness for the Savannah AMBUCS’ third annual Celebrity Bowlapalooza.
Savannah AMBUCS, a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring mobility and independence for people with different abilities, supports many people with the same types of disabilities that often are treated at West Rehab.
West, a celebrity bowler for the event, is selling blue ribbons, the color that represents both organizations, to spread awareness about Savannah AMBUCS and to recognize those who have donated to the cause.
The Bowlapalooza, which will be Oct. 11 at the AMF Savannah Lanes, will fund the AMBUCS Bowling Leagues, AmTryke therapeutic bikes for children and adults with special needs and scholarships for therapy students.
The ribbons are available for a donation of $50 or more to West’s donation page: www.savannahambucs.com/2014-celebrity-bowlapalooza.html.
Donations also can be given by emailing Allison Willis at allison.willis@westrehab.com, Ashley Rich at ashley.rich@westrehab.com or by going to the “Brian West for AMBUCS Bowlapalooza” Facebook page. Those who wish to have a ribbon should contact either Willis or Rich directly.
National AMBUCS (American Business Club) is a nonprofit service organization consisting of a diverse group of men and women who are dedicated to inspiring mobility and independence for people with different abilities.
Savannah AMBUCS fulfills its organization’s mission by providing funding for weekly adult and monthly adolescent bowling leagues, providing AmTryke therapeutic tricycles to individuals who are unable to ride traditional bikes and awarding college scholarships to therapy students.
