Liberty County’s Otis Amason will show and demonstrate his work at the Gem, Mineral and Jewelry Show this weekend in Brunswick.

The show, sponsored by the Golden Isles Gem and Mineral Society, will be in the Stellar Conference Center, 144 Venture Drive, off Interstate 95 exit 38. Hours will be noon-5 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday.

Admission is $2.

Amason said he’s made jewelry and worked with similar crafts for more than 40 years.

Besides showing his jewelry, he will give demonstrations on stringing semi-precious materials such and pearls and turquoise.

Other items on display and on sale will range from mineral specimens and gold to wire-wrapped crafts and beads.
