give thanks

Hinesville will be hosting the Mayor’s 15th annual Service of Songs, Prayer and Thanksgiving at 6 p.m. Nov. 19 at First Baptist Church, 220 Memorial Drive in Downtown Hinesville.

“This event is a treasured tradition that annually joins our community with its leaders to reflect and pray,” said Hinesville Mayor Allen Brown. “I want to personally invite each and every member of the Hinesville community to come out and be inspired.”

This year’s featured speakers include F ort Stewart/Hunter AAF Garrison Commander Col. Jason Wolter, Liberty County Board of Commissioners Chairman Donald Lovette and other local and state elected officials, as well as several members of the Hinesville faith community.

All offerings given during the program will benefit the United Way of the Coastal Empire – Liberty County.

“By attending this event, you will be servicing Hinesville in prayer and through any amount of generous donation you are moved to give,” said Brown.

This event is free to the public.
