SAVANNAH — Hospice Savannah and The Steward Center for Palliative Care’s eighth annual lecture series will feature Ira Byock, MD, FAAHPM, a palliative care physician, author and public advocate for improving care through the end of life. The public is invited to the complimentary luncheon and community lecture, “Saying the Four Things that Matter Most” at the Coastal Georgia Center, 305 Fahm St. in Savannah at noon Jan. 22. Saying “Please forgive me,” “I forgive you,” “Thank you” and “I love you” can help facilitate emotional healing even in the wake of family strife, personal tragedy, divorce or in the face of death.
