The 21st annual Illuminated Christmas Parade hosted by the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce and the Liberty County Convention and Visitors Bureau will be Dec. 1, and the deadline to turn in registration documents and pay is Friday.

Currently, the pricing is $40 for nonprofits and $60 for-profits, plus $20 for an additional unit fee.

After Friday, parade late entry prices will increase to $70 for nonprofits and for-profits; plus $25 for an additional unit fee. Absolutely no parade registration documents will be taken after Nov. 25.

The parade will be in downtown Hinesville beginning at 6:30 p.m. The parade has been held in Hinesville for the past 20 years and showcases businesses, groups and organizations from all over the area. This event has previously attracted more than 15,000 spectators and is televised as well as live-streamed on WTOC.

Spectators are welcome to bring their own chairs to sit and enjoy the fantastic lights, floats and performances. The route for this year will be a little different, but spectators can still sit in their favorite spots from years past and see the parade. If you have an interest in the specific route, be sure to check the Liberty Chamber Facebook for a map soon.

The Illuminated Christmas Parade would not be possible without our generous sponsors. The chamber would like to thank Walmart Super Center, McDonalds on Highway 84, Liberty Chrysler Dodge Jeep and the Hinesville Downtown Development Authority.
