As part of the community’s National Historic Preservation Week observance, Hinesville Rotary Club member Michelle Ricketson and former Hinesville Downtown Development Authority Executive Director Vicki Davis cleaned five of the 11 historic markers in the city. Some area families and individuals have agreed to “adopt” markers and keep them clean, Ricketson said.
